Imo Striker Queens have secured promotion to the NWFL Premiership after a 2–0 win over Ghetto Tigers Queens on Friday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Taking advantage of Osun Babes’ slip in the South West derby against Moje Queens, which ended 0–0, Imo Striker Queens extended their winning streak to three games and confirmed promotion with a match to spare.

Anoke James opened the scoring in the 37th minute, and Chiamaka Damian doubled the lead in the 77th to secure Imo Striker Queens’ maiden top-flight promotion.

With all four promoted sides now confirmed, the 2025 NWFL Premiership promises an exciting season, and Imo Striker Queens will be eager to make their mark in Nigeria’s top-flight women’s football.
