Edo Queens’ 4–1 win over defending champions Bayelsa Queens came alongside historic victories for Pacesetter Queens who recorded their first-ever top-flight win and Ahudiyannem Queens who secured a 2–1 away triumph at Remo Stars Ladies on Matchday 10 of the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership, www.aclsports.com reports.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo Queens avenged their opening-day defeat to Bayelsa with a 4–1 win. Atume Doosuur opened in the fourth minute, followed by Chioma Moses five minutes later. Doosuur struck again in the 13th minute, and Moses added her second in the 30th minute to secure a commanding half-time advantage. Bayelsa pulled one back through Kindness Ifeanyi in the 75th minute, but Edo held on. Doosuur’s brace also made her the league’s top scorer with eight goals this season.

Pacesetter Queens recorded their first top-flight victory, defeating Adamawa Queens 2–0 at the Lekan Salami Stadium. Hikmat Adewale scored in the 51st minute, with Kaase Esther doubling the lead in the 80th, giving the team a vital boost in their relegation battle.

Ahudiyannem Queens celebrated their first away win under new coach Adanna Nwaneri, defeating Remo Stars 2–1 in Ikenne. Uduakobong Monday scored in the 34th minute, Daniella Fagbenro equalised in stoppage time of the first half, but Mary Lucky struck the decisive goal in the 64th minute — her first since joining from Edo Queens.

Dannaz Ladies returned to winning ways, edging Osun Babes 1–0 in Ile-Ogbo through Fausat Idris’ 75th-minute strike. Robo Queens bounced back from a heavy defeat to Nasarawa Amazons, beating Sunshine Queens 1–0 in Lagos via Opeyemi Ajakaye’s eighth-minute goal.

Ibom Angels defeated Naija Ratels 3–1 at the Uyo Township Stadium. Happiness Agboye scored in the eighth and 36th minutes, with Godsgift Afigbediator converting a penalty in the 28th; Chekwube Oneje replied for Naija Ratels in the 38th. Ekiti Queens beat Heartland Queens 2–0, with goals from Kaosarat Olamide Olanrewaju (32’) and Amarachi Okoronkwo (46’).

Confluence Queens overcame Abia Angels 2–1 in Aba; Onyedikachi Ekezie’s own goal gave them an early lead, Hannah Yusuf equalised (54’), but Emmanuel Seember struck in stoppage time (90+6’) to seal victory.

Delta Queens and Nasarawa Amazons drew 1–1 in Asaba. Anesthesia Terfa scored for Delta in first-half stoppage time, with Ayowunmi Omosuyi equalising in the 49th minute.

Bayelsa Queens drop to second in Group A behind Rivers Angels, while Edo Queens remain third on 21 points. In Group B, Robo Queens lead with 24 points, Nasarawa rise to second on 19, and Remo Stars drop to third on 18. Wins by relegation-threatened sides have kept the survival battle intense.
