Confluence Queens stole the spotlight on Matchday 6 of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership, claiming a stunning first win of the season away at Dannaz Ladies, while Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens and FC Robo Queens extended their winning runs, www.aclsports.com reports.

At the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, Confluence Queens ended their wait for a first win in style. After a goalless first half, Blessing Sunday broke the deadlock in the 54th minute, and Seember Emmanuel struck twice, in the 65th minute and in stoppage time, to seal a memorable triumph. The three goals matched the total the side had scored in their previous five matches combined.

FC Robo Queens maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 2–0 win over Abia Angels at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba. Oluwakemi Adegbuyi scored inside two minutes, with Tosin Rafiu adding a late second. Both players now have four league goals each, while goalkeeper Olaide Olawale kept her fifth clean sheet of the season.

In the South-South derby, Bayelsa Queens recorded a 2–0 win over Rivers Angels in Ozoro. Janet Akekeromowei opened the scoring in the 26th minute, before Kindness Ifeanyi doubled the lead six minutes later, securing a comfortable victory for the hosts.

Edo Queens delivered a commanding performance in Abuja, defeating Naija Ratels 3–0 at the Bwari Township Stadium. Atume Doosuur continued her scoring streak with her fourth goal in four consecutive matches, before Mary Mamudu and Precious Oscar completed the victory in the second half.

Ekiti Queens claimed a 2–0 away win over Pacesetter Queens in Ibadan. Zainab Ismail scored in the 24th minute, with Winifred Eyebhoria adding a late second. Pacesetter Queens remain without a win after six matches.

Delta Queens extended their winning run to three games with a narrow 1–0 victory over Ahidjanem Queens at the Umuahia Township Stadium. Charity Isaiah’s 77th-minute strike proved decisive, leaving Ahidjanem Queens still searching for their first goal and point of the season.

At the Lafia City Stadium, Nasarawa Amazons secured a comfortable 2–0 win over Osun Babes. Farkikyen Moses struck in the 3rd minute, and Ayowunmi Omosuyi doubled the lead ten minutes later to give the hosts full control.

Sunshine Queens and Remo Stars Ladies shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw at the Akure Sports Complex. Similoluwa Okesiji put Remo Stars ahead shortly after the restart, but Misturat Olamilekan equalised in the 60th minute to earn Sunshine Queens a point.

Meanwhile, in Owerri, Heartland Queens recorded a 2–0 win over Ibom Angels at the Dan Anyiam Stadium. Oluebube Umejiaku opened the scoring in the 27th minute, with Onyinyechi Kalu adding a second just before halftime to secure all three points.
