Kano Pillars thumped Gombe United 4-0 to return to winning ways as match day 31 matches were concluded in the Nigeria Premier Football League on Sunday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Sai Masu Gida, who have been winless in their three previous games, put four past the bottom club to claim a routine home win. Mustapha Ibrahim, Mustapha Umar and a brace from Rabiu Ali secured the victory – their 13th win of the 2023/24 campaign.

Title contenders Lobi Stars were held to a goalless draw by Bendel Insurance at the Lafia City Stadium. Goalkeeper Amas Obasogie made stunning saves during the course of the game to help the Benin side extend their unbeaten run to three games.

Defending Champions, Enyimba, also walked away with a point against Sunshine Stars in Akure. Promise Awosanmi headed the home side in front shortly after the break before Enyimba substitute Chidiebere Nnachi turned home Ikenna Cooper’s cross later in the game. Super Eagles goalkeeper and Enyimba skipper Ojo Olorunleke made some breathtaking saves to help his side secure a point on his return to the Owena Whale.
