Nigerian players abroad delivered decisive performances across Europe over the weekend, with Rasheedat Ajibade scoring a late goal to spark PSG’s comeback win, Joy Omewa on target, and Chiamaka Nnadozie also shines with her fifth clean sheet, www.aclsports.com reports.

Rasheedat Ajibade scored a crucial stoppage-time equaliser as PSG Féminine edged Montpellier 3–2 in the Première Ligue Féminine on Sunday. Introduced in the second half, the Super Falcons captain struck in the 1st minute of added time, before PSG completed the comeback through Sakina Karchaoui three minutes later. Her compatriot, Jennifer Echegini, celebrating her birthday, put in a full shift, adding resilience to PSG’s midfield across 90 minutes.

In England, Joy Omewa was on target at the City Ground for Nottingham Forest Women, scoring in their 2–0 win over Ipswich Town Women in the Women’s Super League 2. The forward opened the scoring before the break with a composed finish, her second goal for the club since arriving in January, before Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah doubled the advantage shortly after the restart.

Three-time CAF Goalkeeper of the Year, Chiamaka Nnadozie, recorded three saves and another clean sheet as Brighton & Hove Albion Women held Liverpool Women to a goalless draw in the Women’s Super League. With 53 saves in 15 matches and five clean sheets so far, Nnadozie is just two short of the league’s highest tally and has already surpassed Brighton’s total from last season.

In Mexico, Uchenna Kanu maintained her impressive scoring run, netting the decisive goal in Cruz Azul Femenil’s 1–0 victory over Mazatlán Femenil in Liga MX Femenil on Saturday. The forward’s 38th-minute strike marked her fifth goal in four matches, underlining her red-hot form.

Elsewhere, AS Roma Women staged a comeback win over Lazio Women in a tense Serie A Femminile derby. Shukurat Oladipo delivered a solid defensive performance for the league leaders, while Rinsola Babajide remained an unused substitute, as late goals from Manuela Giugliano and Frederikke Thøgersen overturned Nikola Karczewska’s opener to tighten Roma’s grip at the top.
