Chelsea star, Eden Hazard is set his first start of the season when the Blues welcome Nottingham Forest for the Carabao Cup on Wednesday according to his manager, Antonio Conte.

The Belgian, who was out for three months after having surgery on his fractured ankle, has been eased back since his return by Conte.

The 26-year-old recently returned to football when he started featured for Belgium in their World Cup qualifiers in September, but has only played once for the Blues, in the goalless draw with city rivals, Arsenal.

“Now is the right moment for Eden to start the game and try to play the whole game,’ Conte said in his press conference.

“I hope for him it is the final step from his injury. We have managed his situation very well. In my career I was injured a lot of times, and I have a bit of experience about this. Now he is ready to start the game.”

Hazard has been a key player since joining Chelsea from Lille, and last season, he scored 16goals and provided five assists as the Blues lifted the PL title.

Conte also confirmed the return of Brazilian, Kenedy, who is yet to feature for the London side since he was sent home from the club’s preseason tour for posting an offensive message on his social media account.

“Kenedy knows very well what happened in China,” Conte added. “He made a mistake, but everyone in life can make a mistake.

“He is focused, he is working very well and he understood his mistake. Now he is ready to play and to show he deserves a place for the future.”
