Adaobi Okoro was on song as Imo Grasshoppers recorded their fourth consecutive win at the ongoing 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League in Lagos.

Imo Grasshopper bashed Desert Queens 32-16 on Day 4 to continue their unbeaten run.

Adaobi Okoro was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the Day 3 Prudent Energy Handball League.

Okoro told www.aclsports.com that she suffered minor injury at the first phase and could not show off her potentials to the fullest.

She said, “I am glad I was instrumental to the victories of Imo Grasshoppers of Owerri at the ongoing league. The dream of every player is to have more playing time and suffer less injury.

“I am also excited to win the Most Valuable Player of the Day 3 at the Prudent Energy Handball League; this is my first time of bagging such award”.

Okoro vowed not to relent in the struggle of making her club great again.

She said, “Our slogan is to win matches and we are in Lagos to put life into the slogan. I promise my team I will perform better in subsequent matches”.
