Handball: Kingsley Okubuike receives 1st Nigeria call-up

ASPAC of Benin Republic player, Kingsley Okubuike has been rewarded for his prolific form with a maiden call-up to Nigeria U20 squad for the IHF Africa qualifier in Kigali, Rwanda.

The 2018 IHF Africa Challenge Trophy tournament is scheduled for 7th to 12th August, 2018 in Kigali.

Okubuike was one of the star players at the 4th Sam Ocheho invitational handball championships in Lagos.

The Anambra born player told www.ACLSports.com here last June that he dreams of representing Nigeria on the international scene.

The list comprises of; Other selected players are; Ayuba James(Kada Stars), Atabo Abdullahi (Confluence stars), Mafulu Malson(Plateau ), Cole Gbenga, Owolabi Ibrahim (Seasiders), Mohammed Danlami, Anas Mohammed, Buhari Usman and Suleiman Usman.

Others are; Mohammed Alfa (Niger United), Gbawuan Odey Joseph(Army), Yabagi Kasimu(Safety Shooters) and Michael Solomon( Kano Pillars).
The lads will be tutored by Coaches are Obi Fidelis and Agboola Shittu Adewunmi.
