Kwara Adorable Angels and Benue Queens ignite their rivalry as they take on each other on Day 1 at the 2020 Prudent Energy Handball League in Abuja.

Kwara Adorable Angels defeated Benue Queens 39 to 37 goals in the women’s final at the 2019 National Division one league in Kaduna.

The head coach of Kwara Adorable Angels, Isiaka Atanda told www.aclsports.com his team is not under pressure to face the Benue Queens in the North Central derby.

Atanda said the outcome is all in God’s hands.

The state coach said he is excited to play in the league after missing out on promotion the previous years

He said, “The match against Benue Queens is going to be a tough one. We met them at the national division one league final and narrowly won; I am not under pressure to face them again.

“I have left everything in God’s hands and I know he will not disappoint us because we have done the needful”.

“In 2018, I almost lost my team to other teams because they saw potentials in them but I am excited all the girls will be playing together as an entity”.

He revealed that Kwara United beefed the squad by adding 5 quality players to the already established ones.

Atanda said, “During the transfer window, we signed Rebecca John, Aminat Lawal, Tosin Ajala, Blessing Idris and Joy David. I strongly believe these additions will further boost our chances of making an impact in the league”.
