After inspiring his team to a 4-0 win in their Champions League opener, Manchester City defender, John Stones is eyeing more goals.

City began their Champions League campaign on a winning note, following an impressive 4-0 demolition of Dutch champions, Feyenoord, with Stones scoring a brace.

Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus were City’s other scorers, on a night of pure dominance by the Pep Guardiola side.

The 23-year-old England international, who scored his first Champions League goal last season, started and ended the scoring for City and says he hopes to score more goals.

“I scored two goals myself, we fought all together, and we kept a clean sheet,” Stones said after the match.

“It was a great night, playing away from home in Champions League in a great stadium.

“It’s a great moment for me [scoring 2 goals]. I got my first Champions League goal last season, and that’s something you can only dream about.

“And scoring two tonight [Wednesday] is just a great feeling. I’m trying to add scoring more goals into my game so I hope there are more to come.
