Enyimba FC star midfielder Cyril Olisema says his side need not worry about their quarter-final opponent in the Total CAF Confederation Cup.

Olisema scored a 95th minute winner to give Enyimba a hard-fought 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates in Aba on Wednesday and confirm the team’s progress to the last eight.

Enyimba joined seven other teams from seven other countries (including Pirates) in the quarter final draw with the Nigerians finishing as Group A winners.

“I’m so very very happy to score the winning goal that qualified us to the next stage,” said Olisema to www.aclsports.com

“It wasn’t easy but we give all thanks to God and kudos to all my colleagues.

“It was a collective effort and we really worked very hard and it would not be fair that we didn’t come out with victory but thanks to God,” added the former Akwa United star.

Having finished tops of Group A by mere winning their three home games, Enyimba will face one of Pyramids (Egypt), CS Sfaxien (Tunisia) and Cotonsport (Cameroon) by the time the draws are conducted on Friday, April 30, in Cairo.

Olisema who also scored the winner when Enyimba beat compatriots Rivers United in the playoff round says his team must maintain their focus regardless of whom they face.

“I don’t think who we’re facing should be our worry, the only thing is that we just need to work very hard and focus on our goals. Whosoever we meet on the way, all what we want is winning,” he added.

The first leg of the quarter final game will be decided on May 16 while the return leg will hold exactly a week later. Enyimba will be at home for the decisive second leg, regardless of which team they face.
