Cameroon squad has dropped to 20 players after six pulled out of camp due to injuries ahead of the Indomitable Lions friendly match against Tunisia in Rades on Sunday.

Meant to be new coach Antonio Conceiçao’s baptism of fire, the match will also serve to keep the team in shape while others prepare for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Cameroon are exempted for the qualifiers being the host nation.

The Portuguese coach claims expectations for the outing have been doused by the injury situation.

Initially, three players: Tristane Dingomé, Stephane Bahoken and Jean Pierre Nsamé were declared unfit for the meeting but three others have painfully joined the list.

PSG star Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting, Mouni Ngamaleu and Gaetan Bong were confirmed late Wednesday to have left the team’s gathering due to injuries.

It is yet unclear whether the departures would be replaced or if the coach would maintain his 20-man block.
