Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions Enyimba are set to avoid domestic rivals Rangers International in the playoffs draw for this season’s CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC), reports www.aclsports.com

Enyimba and Rangers, two sides situated in the Eastern part of Nigeria are among thirty-one teams already in the pot for Wednesday’s draw for Africa’s second tier club competition.

Enyimba dropped to the Confederation Cup after losing 0-1 on aggregate to Sudan’s Al-Hilal Omdurman in the last round of the CAF Champions League.

Rangers progressed to this playoff stage with a 4-3 aggregate victory over AS Pelican of Gabon also last month.

It has however been scooped by www.ACLSports.com that both teams will be kept apart in the knockout draw after both were seeded in their respective pots.

Among the teams that dropped from the Champions League, Enyimba are seeded alongside the likes of Horoya (Guinea), Asante Kotoko (Ghana) and Gor Mahia (Kenya).

For the original competitors in the Confederation Cup, Rangers are seeded alongside the likes of RS Berkane (Morocco), Al-Masry (Egypt) and Hassania Agadir (Morocco).

Wednesday’s draws will hold at the Hilton Pyramids Resort (6th October City) starting from 6pm Nigerian time.
