Nigeria Super Eagles held their final training session before Saturday’s AFCON 2025 Group C clash with Tunisia on Friday evening in Fes, www.aclsports.com reports.

The Eagles go into tomorrow’s massive group clash in search of vengeance after the AFCON 2021 defeat to the Carthage Eagles in Garoua, Cameroon.

At the training session held at Centre de formation MAS de Fes, all 28 players took part in the session, meaning there are no injury worries in the camp of the Super Eagles ahead of their second group game.

The session, which was open only for the first fifteen minutes, was open to the media, was intense as the side finalized their preparations ahead of the game.

“We know it is going to be a difficult match. Tunisia have very good players, and they are good technically. We want to play our game, but we will prepare ourselves for sure ahead of the contest,” Fisayo Dele-Bashiru told www.aclsports.com just before training on Friday night.

In his own thoughts, Striker Paul Onuachu believes the side has the quality and capability to beat any country ahead of the clash with Tunisia on Saturday.

“I mean, we have a good team, we have the quality and capability to beat any country. We have a good team, good players, and we are playing in major leagues in Europe. We really have the good players to beat any team. We are ready to go tomorrow.”

Nigeria vs Tunisia will come up at Fès Sports Complex in Fes. Kick-off is by 9pm (local/Nigerian time).
