AAG Qualifiers: Nigeria handball senior teams resume camp

The male and female teams of the Handball Federation of Nigeria have resumed camp ahead of next month’s All Africa Games qualifiers in Burkina Faso.

In a list obtained by www.aclsports.com 21 male and 20 female were invited to camp which resumed on Tuesday.

Some of the nation’s U19 and 21 teams who participated at the IHF men’s challenge trophy in Kosovo as well as the IHF women’s continental trophy in Niamey last February made up the team.

Kawkab Athletic Club Marrakech of Morocco player, Obinna Anih, Mountada Derb Sultan Handball Club new signing, Farouk Yusuf, Safety shooters players, Abubakar Ataboh , Abdullahi Ataboh and Gbenga Cole top the list of the male players.

Israel based players Udochukwu Ohakwe and Isoken Nosa, Plateau Peacock goalkeeper, Toyin Yusuf, Kwara state, Muhinat Yusuf are at the top of the woman list of players invited to the camp in preparation for the forthcoming All African Games qualifiers coming up in Burkina Faso.
