NFF signs sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola, unveils World Cup programme

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Wednesday signed a sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola Nigeria and also unveiled the World Cup Programme of the Super Eagles ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The event which held at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos – Nigeria, had in attendance eminent personalities in Nigerian football like the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick; NFF Vice-President, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi; Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, League Management Company Chairman, Shehu Dikko amongst others.

The NFF deal with Coca-Cola Nigeria which will run for 5 years is said to be worth $4m. According to the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, the Super Eagles will play 5 friendlies – Poland, Serbia, DR Congo, England, Czech Republic and if time permits; Chile and Morocco are also on the cards.

In addition to the Coca-Cola sponsorship deal, another good news Nigerians would love to hear is the two year improved contract extension of the Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr who qualified the team for Russia with a game to spare.

The Super Eagles World Cup programme kicks off with the unveiling of the World Cup kit by NIKE at the NIKE town in London. The full schedule of the Super Eagles World Cup programme is available on the NFF website.
