The Governor further added that an additional parking space for the stadium will be developed inside the Anglican Girls Grammer school, Asaba located opposite the stadium across the Nnebisi road.

Former President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria and Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the championship, Solomon Ogba was on ground to show the governor round the facilities alongside top officials of the state government, especially those of the Delta State Sport Commission.
