La Liga: Valencia confirm Francis Coquelin deal

Valencia CF confirmed on Thursday that they have agreed a deal with Arsenal FC in the region of £12m for the transfer of Francis Coquelin.

Coquelin who plays in the defensive midfield position has signed a four and the half year deal that will keep him at the club until the 30th of June 2022, with a buy-out clause of €80m.

“I am very happy, it is a big challenge, it is the start of a new life for me, therefore I am very excited about it,” Coquelin said to the clubs website.

“I am a very passionate player. I always give everything. I hope that you will all see that soon, but I will always give my best,” he added.
