Cricket: 36 players’ gets invited for Ghana 2018 Invitational

The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) on Thursday released a list of 36 players for camping in preparation for the North-West International Cricket Council invitational tournament in Ghana.

According to a statement obtained by aclsports.com, the players are expected to arrive camp on December 27th, 2017 for the first phase of the trials that will hold from December 28th, 2017 to January 6th, 2018.

The statement stated that a 14 man squad will be selected to represent the country after the second phase of which is from January 7th to 14th, 2018 for the tournament.

The statement said the invited players are expected to arrive at Murtala Square, Kaduna State.

The Ghana cricket invitational tournament takes place in Accra from January 19th to 23rd, 2018 and The Gambia, Mali, Morocco, Cameroun and Sierra Leone will be in attendance.

The lists of invited players are: Jeeka Anido, Blessing Nwobodo, Grace Ifeanyi, Mary Desmond, Vivian Anyanwu, Jessica Jayok, Ashafa Modupe, Cecelia Ejeh, Oalat Aregbesola, Funmi Omoniyi, luzi Ojobo, Vera Akhidenor, Agharese Okooboh, Victoria Emmanuel, Samantha Agazuma, Joy Efosa and Agatha Obulor.

Others are; Kafayat Olusunde, Kehinde Abdulquadri, Taiwo Abdulquadri, Rachael Samson, Seun Awonusi, Jessica Izuakor, Azuka Ekemezie, Eunice Sunday, Blessing Etim, Fate Fyneface, Ubelema Frank, Christy Bulus, Hannah Ayoka, Ruth Ayanaike, Mosunmola Job, Adetutu Oladare, Esther Birn, Shakirat Oyewole and Rosemary Itua.
