The semi final games at the Legacy volleyball club championship in both the male and female categories took place yesterday at the volleyball court of Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

The first game saw defending champions, Sunshine volleyball club from Akure pummel Offa volleyball club from Kwara 3-0; while host team, Legacy had it easy against B-Shockers from Kaduna defeating them 3-0. The Legacy vs Sunshine final fixture would be a repeat of last year’s final but this time, the host team would be out for their own pound of flesh.

In the female category, the final game would be a replica of what we witnessed in the final group game between BGY ladies and Legacy ladies two days ago…. And this only means one thing: it will be an exciting game of volleyball.

Legacy edged Festac ladies 3-1 in a very tight semi-final game while BGY had a walkover as their opponents, Laspotech didn’t show up.
