The second day of the Legacy volleyball club championship at the volleyball court of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, served up more excitement for the fans and spectators.

It began with the replay of the abandoned game in the male category between Apex volleyball club and B-Shockers volleyball club, and Apex won convincingly by 3 sets to nothing.

The highlight of the day however, has to be the performance of the male team of Legacy VBC and the female team of BGY VBC who have so far not lost a set, recording 3-0 wins in their first two games of the tournament.

Another major highlight was the game between the male team of BGY VBC and Festac VBC; where BGY survived a scare to win 3-1 against Festac. BGY lost their first game of the tournament 2-3 to Sunshine strikers after going two sets up and it did look like the same thing was going to happen on day 2 of the championship.

BGY went two sets up only for Festac to take the third set. Festac then began the fourth set very well but were halted in their tracks half way through as BGY avoided a recurrence of the events of day 1.

Here are the full results from day 2 of the Legacy volleyball club championship going on in Lagos.

Male Category:

Apex 3-0 B – Shockers
Legacy 3-0 Kano strikers
Unity 2-3 Apex
Festac 1-3 BGY
Ebonyi 2-3 Offa

Female Category:
