TIG International gymnastics competition kicks off in December

After six successful seasons, TIG International gymnastics club Abuja Nigeria has concluded plans to kick off the seventh season in December 2017.

The founder of TIG international gymnastics club, Anthony Asuquo said December 2nd is for level one to three while December 3rd is for level four to seven at the National gymnasium package B, National stadium Abuja.

Asuquo told aclsports that the event is to develop level system championship for schools, states, and clubs all over Nigeria and open to gymnasts with the range of four to fourteen years old.

“Our commitment to the nation is to support and create credible platforms that can contribute to the development of the country. Therefore, we are committed to developing a pool of young gymnasts talents. The success of the last six editions makes it even more exciting for us,” he said.

Asuquo who is currently the only international certified Aerobic Gymnastics Coach in Nigeria said some of his gymnasts have represented Nigeria in Big championships like Singapore, South Africa, Greece and many others.

“We have gymnasts in the Nigeria national team, the aim of the championship is to catch them young from grassroots to competitive level and make them learn in an ora way.

He recalled that their last championship in South Africa, ELDO Star’s championship, the club got two gold and nine bronze medals
