Africa V/ball C’ship: Police, Customs in semi-finals

The third day of the ongoing zone 3 Africa volleyball clubs championship holding in Lagos saw host team, Legacy female club of Nigeria lose 0:3 to Customs female club of Nigeria. This makes it their second loss in as many games in the tournament.

The female customs team on the other hand have maintained an 100% win record without dropping any set. Also with a second win in as many games, Police club of Ghana defeated Energie club of Benin by 3:0 in the female category.

For the men, Nigeria Police lost 0:3 to Police club of Ghana while Legacy club of Nigeria defeated Entente club of Benin by 3:0 in three straight sets.

Following the results from day three, Ghana Police (male) and Nigeria Customs (female) become the first two teams in the semi-final of the zone 3 Africa volleyball clubs championship.

Four matches have been slated for day 4 of the tournament.

In the women’s category:

Energie (Benin) vs Legacy (Nigeria)

Customs (Nigeria) vs Police (Ghana)

While for the men:

Police (Nigeria) vs Garde Nationale (Niger)

Legacy (Nigeria) vs Customs (Nigeria)

The matches are scheduled for 3pm at the volleyball court of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere – Lagos.
