Paul Pogba scored a brace as Manchester United completed an incredible comeback against rivals, Manchester City, in the Manchester derby.

City needed a win to wrap up the league title, and were comfortably cruising at the break courtesy of two first half goals from captain, Vincent Kompany and Ilkay Gundogan.

However, a rejuvenated United side in the second half would have none of it, as two goals in the space of three minutes turned the game in favour of the Red Devils.

Eight minutes into the second half, Pogba pulled a goal back for the visitors, after he was brilliantly set up by Ander Herrera, before equalising for United with a low header, off a lovely Alexis Sanchez cross to bring scores level at 2-2 two minutes later.

A complete turnaround, but the away side were done just yet as there was still time for another goal.

Chris Smalling completed the comeback when he latched onto another wonderful Sanchez pass to seal a memorable win for José Mourinho.

Despite a remarkable second half performance from José Mourinho’s men, it wasn’t done yet as City almost equalised, but for David de Gea, who pulled off one of the saves of the season.

That save by De Gea to deny Sergio Aguero’s goal bound header broke the internet, and Your Sports Memo brings to you some of the best reactions.

Here is that excellent save by De Gea, as captured by this Twitter user;

But of course, there always will be that one odd person, and this user didn’t disappoint.

That win means United cut City’s lead to 13points, but remain  second, while for Pep Guardiola and his men, their party will have to wait for another week.
