Nigeria’s camp ahead of two pre-World Cup friendly games came alive on Tuesday when players arrived from their respective bases.

As at close of work on Tuesday, about twenty-two out of the invited twenty-eight players had reported to camp ahead of the games.

The Super Eagles are converging for the first time since their World Cup kits were launched last month and as expected, members of the team took to their respective social media pages to ‘show off’.

One of the early arrivals in camp; Turkey-based William Troost-Ekong was the first to take to his Twitter account to announce their arrival in camp, doing so in his Super Eagles ‘House kit’.

Troost-Ekong’s fellow Turkey-based centre back, Kenneth Omeruo then took to Instagram shortly afterwards to do his own thing. His post coming after their first training session.

Still on the training session, Abdullahi Shehu is also based in Turkey with Troost-Ekong’s club Bursaspor and he posted his own picture with two of his teammates on his Twitter account.

Belgium based Daddy Moses Simon’s post was not in any national colour but that of expression of happiness in reuniting with his national teammates.

However, Arsenal star Alexander Iwobi made our day with his post, which had him and his good friend; Chelsea’s Ola Aina. The picture displayed the house kit in its full splendour and had fans salivating in the comments section.

We wish the team the best as they prepare.
