He said the players are not going to Egypt to make up the numbers.

“The tournament we are attending is an inter club Africa Volleyball championship organized every year. This year’s own will be in Cairo, Egypt. ”We have been in camp for two weeks and the trainings have been very good because the players are responding” he said.

He noted that the team played friendly matches again several male teams in Abuja metropolis including the reigning champions.

“The matches helped me select players that would be featured first and the ones on substitute. This is going to be different than the African Nations Cup were we could not substitute any player. We are going with 12 players which is a good sign” he said.
