Volleyball: National female team defeat Abuja selected side

In their build up to the Africa Cup of Nation’s, The Nigeria Volleyball female team on Tuesday defeated Abuja selection by three straight set.

The Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled for Yaounde, Cameroon between 7th to 15th October, 2017 serves as a qualifier for the 2018 women world cup.

The game ended 25-18, 25-12, 25-14 in favor of the falcons at the Indoor hall of the Abuja National Stadium.
The friendly was designed to allow the coaching crew led by Usman Abdullahi  experiment on their game plan and to access players ability to execute their roles.

The Abuja girls gave them a good game but they could not match up the fireworks from the national team.
Recall that the twenty woman list is fortified by two foreign players, Verera Oyearone (London based) and Ebele Promise

The National women volleyball team which had spent two weeks in camp are expected to leave Nigeria on the 5th of October, 2017.
