President of Legacy Volleyball Club, Joy Atam Ezenwa has set her sights on making it to the final of the 1st Japa Masters Volleyball Tournament.

The 1st Japa Masters Volleyball Tournament is billed to be held from 22nd to 24th August, 2024 at the outdoor court of Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

Ezenwa told www.aclsports.com that Legacy VC is prepared for glory, adding that the players are mentally and psychologically fit to make a statement.

She revealed that the team practised really well for the upcoming tournament.

She said, “As usual, Legacy VC is well prepared and can’t wait to play a game we all love with passion. The club has been one of the consistent volleyball clubs in South West that takes the game seriously and practice every week without any tournaments in sight.

“We have the capacity to make it happen. We are all ambitious. With determination and strength, I believe Legacy VC will make it to the final.

“I want to wish the players all the best; the fans of the club believes the players can achieve greatness. I am urging them to remain focused as winning is the main goal”.

Ezenwa said, “Players in the South West are benefiting from volleyball tournaments organised by the private sector. We possess quality players and all the private owned clubs stand to gather experience from these tournaments. Our target is for most of these players to get good clubs outside Nigeria.

“The annual Legacy Volleyball Tournament should run it’s course next October”, she added.
