The match, which is the first semifinal, is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 (Nigerian time) at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, Accra, Ghana.

Aliyu Zubairu‘s team finished top of group A to book their place in the final four. Following a 1-1 draw with Ghana in their opening game, the Flying Eagles thumped Benin Republic in the second game to seal progression from the three-team group.

Niger, on the other hand, battled through a tight Group B. After a 1-0 win over Togo in their opening game, they went ahead to lose by the same scoreline to group winners Côte d’Ivoire. In their final group game against Burkina Faso, they played out a goalless draw to finish second with four points.

In the other semi-final match, Côte d’Ivoire will face hosts Ghana at 20:00 (Nigerian time) later on the same day. Ghana finished second in Group A, while Côte d’Ivoire won all three games and finished top of Group B.

The winners from the two semifinals will face off in the final of the tournament on Wednesday.
