Super Falcons FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 captain, Desire Oparanozie has joined top flight French outfit, Dijon on a two-year deal according to reports.

This was confirmed by the club’s official twitter handle welcoming the former Bayelsa Queens forward.

Six weeks ago, Oparanozie confirmed her departure from Guingamp after six years with the French club but will now remain in France after signing with Dijon for two seasons.

Her new head coach Yannick Chandioux believes that the Nigerian international is a proven goalscorer adding that with her experience, she will help the group grow.

“I am happy to start a new adventure after six years in Guingamp. I am delighted to be able to discover something else. I really like this club and I am very honored to sign for Dijon,” Oparanozie said to the club’s website.
