Nigeria youngster, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, made an impact in Pisa’s 2-2 draw with Milan in their Serie A game decided at San Siro on Friday night, www.aclsports.com reports.

The 20-year-old, who is currently on loan at Pisa from Inter Milan, grabbed his first goal contribution of the season as his side held Milan to a stalemate on his return to San Siro.

Since losing to Cremonese on the opening weekend of the season, Milan have been in great form, and they came into the clash with Akinsanmiro’s Pisa as the favourites to take all three points. However, the Black and Blues gave a good fight, as they were denied a first win of the season by a late goal.

Rafael Leao put Milan in front in the 7th minute before Pisa got themselves level through Juan Cuadrado from the penalty spot at the hour mark. The visitors kept things tight at the back before going ahead to take a shock lead at San Siro. In the 86th minute, Akinsanmiro’s lovely pass over the top was duly converted by M’bala Nzola. However, Milan pegged them back with a late goal through Zachary Athekame in the third minute of additional time.

The former Beyond Limits player finished as one of the highest-rated players (via sofascore) in the game. He completed 90% of his passes, created a big chance, and also completed 2/3 of his long balls.

Akinsanmiro hopes to lead his side to their first win of the season when they face Lazio next Thursday in their next league outing.
