Qatar SC have announced the acquisition of Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o who will be presented on Tuesday, according to the club.

The 37-year-old striker revealed ongoing talks with an unnamed French Ligue 1 side a day ago, sparking reports he was at last coming to play in France, where he has vowed to retire.

However, Eto’o will be playing at his 13th club far away from the European country.

“The management of Qatar Football Club is pleased to invite you to attend the press conference to present the international star Samuel Eto’o, which will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 pm at the Club”, Qatar SC wrote on Twitter.
