Plateau Peacocks narrowly beat Seasiders Babes 25-24 to win the fourth game at the ongoing 2019 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League.

Plateau Peacocks stole the show in the first half by 16-12 before going on to extend their lead in the second half and end the game 25-24.

The head coach of Plateau Peacocks, Abdulkadir Yusuf said hard work prayer and dedication to God that’s the secret of our wining.

“We are looking forward to winning all our games like we did last year, they should know that we have a target they should not lose focus.

“We want to continue with the spirit of wining our game we played five games, we won four now and we drew our first game, “he said.

On her part, Olubukola Duru, the coach of Seasider Babes, said her team tried their best but it was unfortunate that they did not win their game.

“It was a good game, my players played well but our opponents have the victory. My players need to be more focused so that they can win their next match.

“We need to work on our mistakes before our next game against Desert Queens of Katsina on Tuesday,” she said.

Meanwhile, COAS Shooters beat neighbor Kada Stars by 28 to 24 goals.
