Delta Queens’ thrilling 3–2 comeback win over FC Robo Queens headlined Matchday 12 of the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership, as Bayelsa Queens routed Naija Ratels and Ahudiyannem Queens extended their unbeaten run, www.aclsports.com reports.

At the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta Queens came from behind twice to secure all three points against Robo Queens. Kemi Adegbuyi opened the scoring in the 11th minute, her sixth goal of the season, before Princess Adams levelled on 35 minutes. Esther Onyenezide restored Robo’s lead four minutes later, but Norah Davis equalised again shortly after the restart. Anatasia Terfa then struck the winner in the 71st minute to seal Delta’s fourth win of the campaign and hand Robo their third defeat.

Bayelsa Queens produced the most dominant display of the round, routing Naija Ratels 5–0 in Yenagoa. An own goal from Andy Faith set the tone before Delight Isaac doubled the lead in first-half stoppage time. Vera Samuel added a third early in the second half, while Kesiena Ojiyovwi netted twice late on to complete the rout.

At the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers Angels maintained their grip at the top of Group A with a 2–0 win over Pacesetter Queens. Grace Saliu struck twice inside the opening 15 minutes to effectively decide the contest early.

Edo Queens also kept pace with a comfortable 2–0 victory over Ekiti Queens in Benin City. Rebecca Adegbemile opened the scoring in the 26th minute before Atume Doosuur added a second on the stroke of half-time, taking her season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Ahudiyannem Queens continued their impressive form under coach Adanna Nwaneri, holding Nasarawa Amazons to a goalless draw in Lafia to remain unbeaten since her appointment.

Ibom Angels came from behind to beat Adamawa Queens 3–1 in Uyo. Omon Afensimi had given the visitors an early lead, but Mariam Okocha responded with a brace before Eunice Ezeani sealed the win in the 75th minute.

In Ikenne, Remo Stars Ladies were held to a 1–1 draw by Confluence Queens. Aishat Animashaun put the hosts ahead in the 35th minute, but Marvelous John equalised five minutes into the second half.

Abia Angels secured a crucial 1–0 away win over Osun Babes in Ile-Ogbo, with Blessing Okon scoring the decisive goal in the 54th minute, a result that significantly impacted the Group B standings.

Table Implications

In Group A, Rivers Angels, Edo Queens, and Bayelsa Queens all recorded wins, maintaining their positions in first, second, and third respectively, while Pacesetter Queens and Naija Ratels remain at the bottom.

Group B saw a shift in momentum. Despite their defeat, Robo Queens remain top, but Nasarawa Amazons moved to 23 points, just two behind the leaders. Remo Stars Ladies dropped out of the top three following their draw, with Abia Angels climbing into third, one point behind Remo.

The final game of the round will see Dannaz Ladies host Sunshine Queens at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Thursday, 26th March 2026, a fixture that could prove crucial in the relegation and mid-table battle.
