Delta Queens FC have confirmed the appointment of Stanley Osazee Francis as their new head coach ahead of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership’s return from a break, www.aclsports.com reports.

The Asaba-based club confirmed the appointment of Osazee, a CAF C Licence-certified coach who also holds an NPFL/LaLiga Advanced Coaching Licence and Coaching Diploma. He has additional certifications from the Nigeria Institute of Sports (NIS), qualifications in Sports Management, and accreditation from the Certified Football Coaches Association of African Nations (FCAAN-F).

Osazee has previously coached women’s sides Novia Queens FC, Fortress Queens FC, Edo Queens FC, and Imo United FC. He has also worked with men’s teams St Paul FC and Nigeria Premier League outfit Bendel Insurance FC.

His coaching achievements include two Edo FA Cup titles, two Super Six appearances with Edo Queens, an NNL Championship, a Federation Cup title, as well as participation in the CAF Confederation Cup and NPFL Super Six with Bendel Insurance.

Maureen Ajibose Eke, who was previously appointed head coach following the sacking of Samson Keshi, has returned to her former role as Assistant Coach.

Delta Queens FC expect Osazee to restore the team to its former glory and strengthen their position in Nigerian women’s football. With his experience and winning mindset, he is set to bring fresh strategies, develop talent, and push the team toward domestic and continental success.
