The various youth teams of the clubs in the elite division have been divided into three regional zones for the upcoming NPFL U-19 Youth League, set to take place across three centres: Ikenne, Umuahia, and Kano.

At the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Remo Stars, Shooting Stars, Ikorodu City, Sunshine Stars, Kwara United, and Bendel Insurance are set to compete in the opening round from August 4 to 9, 2025.

In the Northern region, Kano will host the second phase between August 10 and 16, featuring Kano Pillars, El-Kanemi Warriors, Katsina United, Nasarawa United, Niger Tornadoes, and Plateau United.

In addition, Umuahia Stadium will serve as the venue for Abia Warriors, Akwa United, Enyimba, Rangers, Heartland, Bayelsa United, Rivers United, and Lobi Stars as they vie for qualification to the final round.

Following the regional fixtures for this year’s edition, the top two teams from each zone will advance to the top-six playoffs, where the national U-19 champions will be crowned.

It will be recalled that Rivers United’s youth team won the U17 edition in Benin last year.
