Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane is set to miss Saturday game against Manchester United due to an injury. Mane is set to miss up to six weeks after suffering a hamstring injury while on international duty with Senegal, according to his club, Liverpool.

“Sadio Mane is facing a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury on international duty,” Liverpool said in statement on their official website.

“It has now been confirmed that he picked up an injury during that fixture that could keep him out of action for up to six weeks.”

The 23-year-old played a key role as Senegal defeated Cape Verde Islands 2-0 to rekindle their World Cup hopes, before he was substituted in the 89th minute on Saturday.
