Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Shooters player, Kelvin Dele has stated that his teammates have learnt from mistakes of the 2018 Prudent Energy Handball League.

Dele told www.aclsports.com that he underwent personal training to make sure he performs well this season which begin May 13th.

The Nigeria U21 player added that his team will not only make the top three but lift the trophy.

He said, “After our performance at the 2018 handball league I felt bad because we did not really do well. We drew some crucial matches against teams like Borno Spiders and Kada Stars which ordinarily we should have won. I have trained really hard and I am optimistic that I will make a lot of impact in the team this season.

“Our coach just returned from international championships and has impacted a lot in the team. We will not only finish top three but I am seeing us lift the trophy by the grace of God”.

The former Benue Buffalos told www.aclsports.com that attending the IHF Challenge Trophy in Kosovo opened his eyes to new styles of handball.

“I must confess, attending the IHF Challenge Trophy in Kosovo open a new chapter of handball. I played against some of the best players in the U21 category and this has improved my pattern of play. I wish to translate what I learnt to my club side.

I want to make my mother (Rose Dele) proud by achieving more than her in handball. I also have a dream of establishing my own handball academy whenever I stop playing actively” Dele told www.aclsports.com
