Super Eagles of Nigeria will end 2018 ranked 44 in the world following the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released on Thursday.

Nigeria, like many other nations, gained zero points from when the last ranking was released last month to remain 44 in the world and fourth in Africa.

Ahead of Nigeria are Senegal, who remains Africa’s best ranked nation on 23, with Tunisia (26), Morocco (40) and Congo Democratic Republic (49) making up the top five in the continent.

Meanwhile, World Cup winners, France, will end the year ranked second, just a point behind team of the year, Belgium, who ends 2018 as the number footballing nation in the world.
