Nigeria Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru scored his first and the only goal for Galatasaray in a 2-1 defeat to Valencia in his second pre-season game since joining the club.

Preseason continues... it was great to score my first goal for the club seems like so long ago .. I can get used to this feeling again 😉 #Hardwork #Dedication #gala #valencia pic.twitter.com/Z17gMyOVU7

The 21 year-old striker came off the bench in the second period to half his team’s deficit having fallen behind to Valencia by 2-0. His goal was however not enough to prevent a second successive pre-season defeat in as many games.

Onyekuru joined the Turkish side on loan from Everton after failing to pin down a starting spot with the English Premier League side and will now spend the entire season at Galatasaray with the hope of first team football.
