12 time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic is a father for the second time after his wife Jelena gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday.

Djokovic and  his wife have a three year old son named, Stefan and have now named their daughter, Tara.

The Serb’s daughter is coming a day after the world celebrated the birth of six time US Open champion, Serena Williams’ daughter in Florida.

Both are currently missing the US Open. Djokovic is out due to an elbow injury and the arrival of his daughter might have worked out quite well in terms of timing. While Williams stayed away to welcome her first bundle of joy.

The 30-year-old Serb should also have plenty of time to spend with the latest additionl to his family as he has opted not to play again for the remaining part of the 2017 season.

Djokovic is expected to return to action at the start of 2018, having retired from Wimbledon during his quarter-final match against Tomas Berdych.
