Dallas Wings have confirmed the signing of Amy Okonkwo for the remainder of the 2025 WNBA season, www.aclsports.com reports.

The 29-year-old forward initially joined on a hardship contract, which was later renewed. She has since averaged 11.4 points and 3.0 rebounds across six games. With Dallas out of playoff contention, she will feature in their last two regular-season fixtures before the campaign concludes on September 11, 2025.

Okonkwo’s efficient scoring and versatility have drawn positive reviews, underlining why she has become a key figure for Nigeria on the international stage.

Beyond boosting Dallas in their closing games, the stint also offers her a platform to push for a longer WNBA stay while maintaining the form that has made her an indispensable leader for the Nigeria D’Tigress.
