Out of favour Nigeria Gymnasts are planning to switch allegiance from Nigeria to Eastern and Southern African countries, aclsports.com gathered.

This is as a result of the ministry of Sports giving the Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria one slot to participate at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

According to close sources, gymnast Uche Eke will miss the Games due to school commitments.

Nigerian gymnasts, last month, embarked on a training tour in Tokyo without the athletes and technical representatives as well as a national coach which brought rancor between board members.
