Brazilian league side America Futebol Clube PE Brazil has announced the signing of Nigeria junior international, Oluwasegun Otusanya has joined on a long term deal, www.aclsports.com reports.

Otusanya, a member of the Flying Eagles Class of 2023 has signed a four-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.

Otusanya’s goal scoring exploits with FK Haugesund’s B team in the Norwegian league last season attracted serious interests from European and South American clubs, but he chose to pitch tent with the Brazilian outfit.

The 20 year old former Stars Builders Academy forward scored 32 goals in 36 games for FK Haugesund B and is expected to bolster the attacking department of the Recife based Club.

America Clube President Eduardo Peixoto said the addition of is the first fruit of the Club’s new strategy to recruit talents from Africa and a product of their partnership with Stars Builders Academy.

“We are very happy that Samuel and Stars Builders Academy accepted our project. We are fans of Nigerian football. From Kanu, Okocha, Finidi, and Osimhen so we want to look for these talents at the source.

“It will be the first of other businesses in this partnership. I thank the Club for all their efforts and patience and the professionalism of the CEO, Ayodeji Adegbenro, who brilliantly handled the entire negotiation. I’m sure Samuel “The Machine” Otusanya will be very successful in Brazil,” said Peixoto.

Otusanya who joins the Serie A3 side is the second Stars Builders Academy product to tie up a deal in as many weeks after Sulaiman Shehu sealed a move to SJK Finland.
