The President Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Daniel Igali told ACLSports.com that the members are meeting to discuss the hosting of the 2018 Africa Wrestling Championships, and development of cadets and junior wrestlers.

“If we must be taken seriously in sports, not only should we aspire to win medals at the world stage, we must strategically place athletes and our board members in decision making positions on different committees and commissions either through elections or appointments.”

The board members are: Prince while F.A.B Adenekan (South West) the Vice-president, Alber Atiwurcha, (North-East) and Chinonye, (South-East) Zonal Representatives.
