The 2024/2025 NWFL champions Bayelsa Queens FC, have officially relocated to a new, upgraded camp facility, marking the end of a three-year stay at their previous base, www.aclsports.com reports.

During an inspection of the facility, Commissioner for Sports Development, Dr. Baraladei Daniel Igali, emphasized the importance of infrastructure in driving performance.

“Football is far more than just a game; it is a universal language that inspires, unites, and drives people to achieve greatness, especially when players have a conducive environment to prepare,” he said.

Dr. Igali urged the team to maximize the new environment, reminding them that their champion status comes with greater responsibility.

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you’re doing,” he added.

Club Chairman, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala, expressed gratitude to Governor Douye Diri, Deputy Governor Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, and Dr. Igali for their unwavering support.

“The Prosperity Government’s ability to listen, provide feedback, and advocate for our needs shows exceptional leadership,” Apreala said. “This investment motivates us to keep working hard and bring more laurels to Bayelsa State.”

With improved facilities, solid government backing, and the momentum of their sixth league title, Bayelsa Queens now have their sights set on continental glory.
