Head Coach of Plateau Peacocks, Yusuf Abdulkadir said his side will spring up a surprise against host Bendel Dynamos on Sunday.

Former Champions, Plateau Peacocks will face Bendel Dynamos in the women’s match 4 at the 2023 Ardova Handball Premier League in Benin, Edo State.

The former Head Coach of Nigeria U18 female team told www.aclsports.com that his side will not relent in their performance when they take on Bendel Dynamos.

Abdulkadir popularly known as Kekere said his side is going into the tie with a do or die mentality.

He said, “I want to assure you that Plateau Peacocks will spring up a surprise against Bendel Dynamos. I know the team has a huge task ahead of us but it will not deter us from playing well.

“We will all see how we can go there and get a good result. Plateau Peacocks are prepared for this year’s league and I want to give you my words that the team will give a good account of themselves”.

Abdulkadir said Plateau Peacocks stand a chance of lifting the trophy due to it’s level of preparedness.

He said, “Plateau Peacocks are on track and looking forward to lifting the trophy for the second time in five years. We have worked hard and I know we deserve it”.

It will be recalled that Plateau Peacocks won the 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League.
