It is a repeat of last year’s final in the 2018 women’s AITEO Cup as Rivers Angels prepare to do battle with South South rivals, Ibom Angels.

Goals from Cecilia Nku and Cynthia Aku in both halves sealed a 2-0 victory for the defending champions as they defeated Bayelsa Queens at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Having defeated Ibom Angels last time out to emerge champions, the five time league and seven time cup winners will have it all to do again as they hope to successfully defend their title in twelve days time.

With both teams on a good run of form in this tournament, it is no surprise they both made it to the finals. However, it remains to be seen who emerges 2018 women’s AITEO Cup champion.
