Ahly club of Egypt will double the organisation of both men and women’s African Club Championship after the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) entrusted them to host the Men’s competition one day after they were selected also to host the Women’s.

The decision came after thorough study for the bidding coming from both Ahly of Egypt and Esperance of Tunisia where the first offers better bidding to win the honour to host.

The competition will be held from 1st to 10th April, 2019 at both Ahly halls in Cairo, Egypt, the same site of the 2018 edition that showed the hosts won their 13th title as All time record holders.

The deadline to participate in the competition will be March 5, 2019.
