Nigerians have taken to social media to express their satisfaction at the performance of the team singling out Odion Ighalo for praise after dramatic 3-2 win over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the round of 16 tie at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)

The China based forward put up a Man of the Match performance against the defending Champions scoring two goals and providing a beautiful assist for the winner at the Alexandria Stadium in Egypt. Asides Ighalo, substitute Samuel Chukwueze also showed why he should be starting games going forward and Iwobi’s winner ofcourse also got everyone talking.

Come have a look at some of the best reactions at the end ofΒ  the final whistle.

Yesterday, I watched those Super Sports analysts all unanimously agree Cameroon would beat Nigeria today. The same men will now tell us why Nigeria won. 90 percent of these analysts are jokers, they can’t get over their biases #AFCON2019

Samuel Chukwueze's special brew of chaotic efficacy has had impact of this game. His production in this game alone has been more than all the other wingers in team put together. His frustrating but is also exciting and threatening, something the other wingers are not.
